Many people haven’t asked me, “Paul, seriously, do you actually have anything to do with Dummyhead?”
Well, To the surprise of most people who encounter Dummyhead music or (especially) band photos, Dummyhead is a “one man band”, meaning that there is only one member. Care to venture a guess as to who that might be?
For this particular tune, I played drums, bass and organ, as well as singing 2 backing vocal tracks, all recorded to my Korg D3200, then played back as accompaniment to the guitar/vocal tour de force depicted in this video. The backing tracks are actually selected tracks from a complete studio recording of “PickThumb BooBoo” (which can be found here: http://www.ursuspacificus.net/blog/?page_id=6 … although the organ part is not there).
