<description>Many people haven't asked me, "Paul, seriously, do you actually have anything to do with Dummyhead?"

Well, To the surprise of most people who encounter Dummyhead music or (especially) band photos, Dummyhead is a "one man band", meaning that there is only one member. Care to venture a guess as to who that might be?

For this particular tune, I played drums, bass and organ, as well as singing 2 backing vocal tracks, all recorded to my Korg D3200, then played back as accompaniment to the guitar/vocal tour de force depicted in this video. The backing tracks are actually selected tracks from a complete studio recording of "PickThumb BooBoo" (which can be found here: http://www.ursuspacificus.net/blog/?page_id=6 ... although the organ part is not there).

For you gearheads out there:

The Guitar Rig: Epiphone Les Paul Custom =&gt; DOD FX50-B =&gt; Boss DS-1 =&gt; Boss CE-5 =&gt; DOD FX17 =&gt; Morley Bad Horsey 2 =&gt; MXR Carbon Copy =&gt; Fender FAT DeLuxe =&gt; Heil/Dunlop TalkBox

Organ: Hammond XK-2

Bass Rig: LTD B-105 =&gt; Peavy Basic12

Drum Rig: Customized Alesis DM5-Kit, with lots of extra Alesis pads, Pintech Dual-trigger snare, Pintech Hi-Hats and Pintech-triggered kick (with DW7000 dual-bass pedal)

Mics recorded thru Behringer Eurorack MX 2004A, and Alesis 3630 Compressor/Gate units on channel inserts
